We remember and are thankful for the sacrifices our service men and women have given and continue to give in the name of freedom. We know that freedom is not free. There are men and women, all over the world, who are serving to keep America safe.
Theirs is not an easy path. They must be ready, at any time, to bear arms to defeat the foes of liberty, justice and freedom. Whether they serve here at home or abroad, they proudly put on their uniform and face whatever the day may hold. They guard the land, the air, and the sea.
The next time you see a person wearing the uniform of the United States of America, stop for a moment and thank them for their service. It means a lot to hear your words of gratitude.
We must always remember those who have gone before and paved the pathway. We must never forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice. We must remember them and their families. Especially, on Memorial Day, pause a moment and say thank you.
